OMAR

Omar started by accompanying mountain guides which gave him the taste of the job. He decided to obtain his mountain guide diploma and he succeeded in 2003. When we ask him why he loves his job, he answers naturally “we are mountain dwellers, so we do what we know: the mountain!” For some time now, Omar has regularly organised mountain biking courses in Morocco.
“The biggest advantage is that we can see a lot of the landscapes and different places by mountain bike. However, we always see things better by walking”. What makes Morocco so beautiful to visit: ”The welcoming nature of the Berber people and the diversity of the landscapes. From one valley to another, the ambiance of the landscape completely changes”. His favourite region remains the mountainous ones, the Middle-Atlas and the Anti-Atlas, and particularly the region of Toubkal and the Valley of the Roses.
